
About Us
Dr. Joe Yale
Dr. Joe Yale received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Harding University in 2001. He then received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 2005. During his time at LSUSD, Dr. Yale was awarded the Pediatric Dental Award. Dr. Yale received his postgraduate training in Pediatrc Dentistry at LSUSD and The University of Tennessee Medical Center in Memphis, TN. He graduated from the LSUSD Pediatric Dentistry Program in 2007. Dr. Yale has a passion for dental missions. He has participated in dental mission trips to Jamaica, Guyana, and Mexico. In 2009, Dr. Yale opened Yale Pediatric Dentistry in Denham Springs, LA.
Dr. Yale is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. He maintains active memberships in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and the Greater Baton Rouge Dental Association.
Dr. Yale enjoys golfing and spending time with his family. Dr. Yale and his wife Jennifer have two daughters, Anna Kate and Avery Grace.
Dr. Katie McClendon
Dr. Katie McClendon received her Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University in 2008. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from LSU School of Dentistry in 2012. During her time in dental school, Dr. McClendon discovered her passion for treating children. She continued her pediatric education at LSU School of Dentistry and Children’s Hospital New Orleans, completing a two-year pediatric residency program in 2014. Dr. McClendon is a board certified pediatric dentist. She is on staff at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital.
Dr. McClendon maintains active membership in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and the New Orleans Dental Association.
Dr. McClendon is a Baton Rouge native and enjoys traveling and supporting LSU athletics. Geaux Tigers!
Dr. Kathleen (Kat) Corbin
Dr. Kathleen (Kat) Corbin received her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Louisiana State University in 2013. She attended LSU School of Dentistry, receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2017. During her time in dental school, Dr. Corbin served on the Student Government Association executive board. She was a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and C. Edmund Kells Honor Society, and received the award for Outstanding Achievement in Pediatric Dentistry and the Delta Dental Student Leadership Award. She continued her education at Texas A&M College of Dentistry’s Pediatric Residency Program, training at Children’s Medical Center and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Corbin is board-eligible by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and maintains active membership in many dental societies including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and Louisiana Dental Association.
Lifelong Louisiana residents and avid LSU Tiger fans, Dr. Corbin and her husband, Zach, are thrilled to return home to Louisiana this summer.
